This note includes a spoiler. I watched I Made Friends with the Second Prettiest Girl in My Class episode 8. 5/10. This episode included Study group at Maki's home for the next exam Dinner with Maki's father and met Nitta afterward Talked to Umi Well, if you want a romantic relationship between Maki and Umi, then this episode is great. The early part of this episode was especially good — their interaction while they studied with Amami and Seki together. Another interesting part was Amami's personal preference was similar to Maki's, and she wanted to date someone like him. Well, maybe she just had a big appetite and a sweet tooth, and wanted to eat them. Umi heard these things and worried about Maki, and said that she had put up with it in the past when Amami took her friends — Honoka, and one more whose name I forgot. But she definitely couldn't. If she had been able to, she wouldn't have changed high schools in the first place. So she worried but at the same time, her sadness faded because of Maki.

Story and characters: 3/5 Design and animation: 3/5 Voices and audios: 3/5 This episode started with: The threesome went shopping and ran into Maki's dad The next day, Umi and Maki went on a date and ran into his dad again Maki talked to his mom after the date So, in terms of rom-com, this episode is gold. It's clear Umi almost always led their date and she was trying to get closer to him, and their opinions sometimes lined up. This was her first or second date, so thinking about it, she prepared a lot for the date — finding Maki's clothes, preparing her own clothes, finding a theater, and a few restaurants, too. I wanted to see more of the karaoke scene but the singing was cut.

This note includes a spoiler. I watched I Made Friends with the Second Prettiest Girl in My Class episode 6. 6/10. Story and characters: 4/5 Design and animation: 3/5 Voices and audios: 3/5 The episode started basically with: The dream about the time when Maki cried out to his dad. Planning for this Christmas Eve. Seki's confession to Amami. Maki's preparation for his next date with Umi. In this episode, finally, Maki's dad was mentioned, and unlike some MCs in other anime, he had a reason why he didn't live with his dad. And that seemed to be his trauma or something as he dreamed about it. And it also influenced his personality, and he wanted to be a better guy for Umi before officially dating her. At least we know why his character was something like this.

First thoughts after watching Wistoria: Wand and Sword episode 15 (season 2, episode 3)
This post includes a spoiler. I watched Wistoria: Wand and Sword episode 15. 9/10. Story was 5/5, animation was 4/5, voices and audio was 4/5. The overview of this episode was from Will's perspective: Will was saved by Workner on his dragon but disappeared because Rosty was killed. They were shot down by a masked man and Workner was fatally wounded in front of Will. Finn arrived at the village and Will was awakened. Will wiped out monsters and confronted Devander, which was fighting Sion and Colette. From perspectives other than Will's, mages and dwarves mostly ran around and dealt with monsters, and Magia Vander argued with each other. Some wanted to come down from the tower and some disagreed.

This note includes a spoiler. I watched I Made Friends with the Second Prettiest Girl in My Class episode 5. 9/10. Story and characters: 5/5 Design and animation: 3/5 Voices and audios: 3/5 The earlier part of this episode was that Umi started talking about her past and the reactions there, and then Umi and Maki talked in a classroom. The later part was that Umi talked with Amami on the roof with Maki again, and then they hung out in Maki's room before they called it a day. I didn't expect this episode was still on the school festival day, and I thought it had finished in the previous episode, but I was wrong.

Story and characters: 4/5 Animation: 3/5 BGM: 3/5 The earlier part of this episode was that Amami asked a question which is hard to say publicly to other classmates, and then Asanagi pretended to have won in a drawing for the member of a school festival committee. The later part was its preparation and the festival itself.

First thoughts after watching I Made Friends with the Second Prettiest Girl in My Class Episode 3
This note includes a spoiler. I watched I Made Friends with the First Second Prettiest Girl in My Class episode 3. 7/10. Well, Asanagi for sure can be the prettiest in the class, and also Maehara became friends with Amami and the story moved forward through her actions too. The earlier part of this episode was, first, that Amami invited Maehara to lunch at school — alone at first, and then with Asanagi too — and second, that they went to Maehara's home. She talked loudly in class without caring about other people, as she always does, and that characteristic didn't match Maehara's personality. But he was alone before he met Asanagi in his class, so I guess he had mixed feelings toward her. Anyhow, she was kind enough to take his word seriously and tried not to invite many people to the lunch. It was good animation to see that Asanagi apologized by putting her hands together with her mobile phone, from a distance. I've never seen anything like this.

This note includes a spoiler. I watched I Made Friends with the Second Prettiest Girl in My Class episode 2. The episode started when a guy asked Asanagi out, and she turned him down and then he asked to exchange contact information but she also turned it down. That guy also tried the same thing with Amami, so they thought he was flirty. Then Amami and another girl tried to leave that place, but before leaving, somehow, Amami got Maehara's phone number. I was like, what? Why? Did they want to talk about Asanagi turning a guy down?

First thoughts after watching Wistoria: Wand and Sword episode 14 (season 2, episode 2)
I watched the Wistoria: Wand and Sword episode 14. In the previous episode, the monsters appeared in the town and broke them. Some of the mages from a tower casted their spells like summoning magics and at first, people in the town were amazed with their techniques. But the monsters turned out they could nullify magics, and they all had magic slayers. So even one mage who invited new mages to a tower in the 1st season was cut into two. Magia Vendor, needed to charge their powers in a tower and couldn't move, so they asked Iris to order Dwarves to defeat them. And they were ready to help mages.

First thoughts after watching I Made Friends with the Second Prettiest Girl in My Class Episode 1
This note includes a spoiler. I watched I Made Friends with the Second Prettiest Girl in My Class episode 1. The main character was a typical guy in a slice-of-life anime, who didn't have any friends and was an introvert and enjoyed being alone. I don't even remember his name lol. And he liked some movies or Netflix that other people didn't watch. At his high school, he needed to introduce himself at first, and he couldn't introduce himself like a sociable person does. And then, the next person was the one who was supposed to be the prettiest girl in the classroom, I guess, and while she introduced herself, she also introduced Asanagi, the main heroine, obviously. The character design, or maybe drawing, made me feel sometimes that her body or her shoulders were really wide for some reason at first, and it felt a little bit weird. It was gone shortly, though. That girl reacted a little bit when she heard that he spent the weekend at home watching movies or playing video games. Like other slice-of-life anime, other guys who cared about looks talked about how hot their classmates were. But then, I couldn't imagine how the MC and MH got familiar with each other. And also, the main character wasn't really appealing at that time to me, as he was maybe a little depressing.
