First thoughts after watching Jobless Reincarnation Season 3 Episode 7

I watched Jobless Reincarnation season 3 episode 7 twice.

This episode was the one about the natural progression of academy life, which was graduation. The main focus of the graduation was Linia and Pursena. In order to decide who would lead their tribes, they fought. Rudy was just excited and enjoyed watching the fight, though he didn't expect them to go their separate ways afterward. The fight took a long time, but the animation wasn't good. They mostly animated only a few specific characters, or shot the fight from a long distance. Maybe the production saved effort in this episode because it wasn't an important fight. Anyhow, they were worried about going their separate ways, but it seemed like they met immediately after they departed the city, so they were still really like glue.

Another important part was Nanahoshi's experiment. Rudy kept helping her and this time, he felt the summoning magic was similar to the mass teleportation in the past. The animation effects were at first really similar to that, but then they changed, and what it summoned turned out to be a big watermelon. Nanahoshi also got sick often. Does this indicate something about the future, like she was going to disappear because she was summoned from another world and didn't fit into that world? Or was this just showing the details of this world?

For some reason they celebrated shortly after, and at the celebration, Roxy got drunk and sat on Rudy's lap. She was so cute. Norn also wanted to join the student council and she asked Rudy if it was okay for her to join. At first, I wondered why she asked, but then I realized she thought he would worry about her not doing well in her writing and sword training. Anyhow, Sylphie helped her and told him that Norn had already been helping the student council. So he made a sensible decision and allowed her to do it.

Then, right at the end, Nanahoshi told Rudy that her master might know how to cure his mother. I didn't see this coming, so that was Rudy's next move, but it was actually a pretty natural thing for him to do. Then she told him who her master was: one of the three heroes who defeated Laplace. How could she know that kind of person? Well, we'll probably find that out shortly. So, on to the next episode, which will probably start a new arc.
