First thoughts after watching Jobless Reincarnation Season 3 Episode 4

I watched Jobless Reincarnation season 3 episode 4 twice. 7/10. New things started slowly, as this series always does.

Geese and Talhand left the place because they were adventurers. I forgot but Roxy was in a party with them so she was also kind to them. And it seems Elinalise would have a wedding with Cliff too, and maybe she was also going to settle there?

Aisha was mature but she still had a childish side and wanted to grow a monster. Or they might have a different sense from ours and have different opinions about monsters. Roxy showed her deep knowledge as she had been an adventurer for a long time. I don't know why Rudeus thought nobody would ever figure out his secret room, even though they had all lived together for a long time. Maybe Roxy also figured it out. It was a great scene, and the voice actor for Rudeus's inner voice did a really good job. It was hilarious. Sugita's voice for an upset, confused man was really good.

Rudeus was also a little hasty to do whatever he thought he needed to do. And he pushed a few things onto other people like Cliff though he changed his mind. But he still pushed Roxy by asking her to teach him King-class water magic. I wasn't sure why Roxy didn't want to teach him but after watching the episode, it was a little clear. She needed almost all of her mana to use that magic, so she didn't want to use it often. Besides, she might not have wanted him to succeed as she knew he was going to cast it. When he was able to pull it off, she smiled but was also sad at the same time. Her expression looked complicated and I couldn't figure it out one way or the other. From her words, she felt down at that time. But she also thought it was like a dream because she could have died in the labyrinth. Well, that made me wonder how many seasons this series will have. Because there were the sword emperor and sword god, I think there will be emperor-class and god-class magic. And Rudeus will probably learn the god-class magic, so it sounds like there's still a long way to go. It also made me wonder how important the labyrinth arc really was for them, and how strong Sylphie and Roxy really are in this series. Or will King-class magic turn out to be nothing special later on?

In terms of animation, the one for the King-class water magic was great. Even though it was water type, the magic was lightning and it was a little off to me. Roxy's one was still good enough to change the weather and blow a large tree, but Rudeus's one was a much bigger spell to collect clouds from a large area. And the lightning came with a lot of clouds, rain, and, well, how can I say it, electricity?

The next episode will probably be the wedding of Elinalise. Also Rudeus wanted to do everything he could, so there will be an episode for him to find his job, like being an adventurer, or analyzing the hydra's skin, perhaps.
