First thoughts after watching Jobless Reincarnation Season 3 Episode 3

This note includes a spoiler.

I watched Jobless Reincarnation season 3 episode 3 twice. 7/10. This episode was from Rudeus's point of view, and it picked up after the last episode of season 2.

This episode was about a regular, peaceful life. Nothing exciting. Just a normal day as ever. It was funny, and I was relieved, that he still called Roxy his Deity. I thought he stopped at the end of season 2, but he still treated her as his master and his Deity. That was the first word I'd heard from him this season.

But it was still painful to see his left hand because it had been cut off by the hydra.

Sylphy's baby was also born. Forgot her name. Who took care of the baby while Sylphy was at the academy, by the way? Maybe Aisha and Lilia. When they had breakfast at the table, it was actually moving to see them living peacefully and happily after everything that went on over the last 2 seasons. Rudeus was so happy that he didn't even care who was watching, and hugged his wives in public.

I also didn't know Rudeus was sister-obsessed. Was he? Or was this the first episode where he showed it? He acted exactly like Norn's dad. She needed help in season 2 and he took care of her a little, so that might have made him a little emotional. Also, when she turned around, the animation was very detailed and very good. Maybe some animators like her, so it was framed well?

I forgot who Cliff was exactly, except that he had fallen in love with Elinalise. He believed in Millis and in monogamy. So he was furious and Rudeus got a lecture from him like Norn had in season 2, but he understood Rudeus wasn't a member of the Millis Church.

I had been wondering how this anime would handle Rudeus's left hand, and whether there would be healing magic to fix it or not. But the answer was Zanoba's invention. The glove he and Cliff made, the Hand of Zaliff, was so neat, and he was able to use it like his normal hand. Maybe he was going to power up when he got the next one.

The funny part was that he still prayed to his holy grail. Why did he do that? Praying to his own Deity!

The ending animation was completely about Eris. It fit episodes 1 and 2, but which episode will she show up in next? Until then, she might only be in the ending throughout this season.

What will come next, I don't know. But he was a student at the academy and Roxy became the instructor of his class, so something related to her will come. And also, the title of the next episode was "A King-Class Water Mage", so it's probably going to be about how impressive she is. Also, Nanahoshi didn't look well, like she was sick, so there might be an episode related to her, too.
