First thoughts after watching Jobless Reincarnation Season 3 Episode 2

I watched Jobless Reincarnation season 3 episode 2 twice. 7/10. This episode was again from the point of view of Eris, or rather, Nina.

It seemed Nina spent her whole life on swords, and I guess because of that, she hated losing to Eris. She even tried to find and meet Rudeus because she didn't want to admit he was real, or because she somehow thought she could've beaten him. But after seeing him, it looked like she changed her mind, and her opinion of Eris changed a little. Probably because he was so exceptional and she couldn't imagine even Eris catching up with him. So she might've felt Eris's goal was impossible and the hurdle was too high. It also showed how she and the other members of the Sword God Style didn't know the outside world.

At the training hall, when the Water God came, they were on their guard against Eris the moment she walked in. I thought it meant Eris was so strong compared to them. But after watching the whole episode, it was obvious she didn't even hide her enormous hostility and they were sensitive to it, so that was a reaction to it. Then Eris fought the Water King and lost, but Nina beat her, so their strengths formed a triangle. And after they went over the improvements the Water King suggested, Nina started looking after Eris more. It was partially because Eris also started talking to her more, I guess. And until then, Eris only cared about Orsted and she didn't think about others, except for Rudeus, and even that was infrequent.

So, a few months or years later, in the next training session with the Water King, Eris had changed after getting advice from Nina. She was clean, she didn't rush straight into attacking the Water King, so we were able to see how different she had become in an instant. And when Eris smiled at the Water King, the Water King let her guard down, and Eris landed a hit. And I also forgot a lot because it was in season 1, but Eris was a girl who was very emotional and showed her emotions on her face, not only hostility or desperation toward someone. By the way, I didn't remember Eris was able to use fire magic. Or she just didn't have to use it until this episode? I don't remember.

The action in this episode was also good. The fights between the Water King, Eris and Nina weren't that good, but the action in the fights against the beasts moved pretty well with a fast pace and dynamic camera angles. We could feel the speed and momentum as well as the power when Eris broke the ice cliff. During the training against the Water King, Eris's sword also looked different from the others', and it used the same effect as when she took down the North Emperor, which was unique and indicated she did something different.

Nina saw Rudeus at the best worst time, and she didn't even understand what happened. Well, I also didn't remember what happened at that time, but Rudeus somehow got attention for a duel. Then she only saw the last moment, when he hit Badigadi with his magic and the demon king was blown away. She probably didn't understand it was a deal where the demon king wouldn't dodge and would just take a hit from his strongest magic, so he had as much time as he wanted to cast it. Maybe that left her with an impression of him as a much stronger character than he actually was.

The next episode sounded like it would be from Rudeus's point of view again, so I don't know what'll come.
