First thoughts after watching I Made Friends with the Second Prettiest Girl in My Class Episode 11

This note includes a spoiler.

I watched I Made Friends with the Second Prettiest Girl in My Class episode 11. 7/10. This episode was on the day after Maki and Umi started dating, and Maki caught a cold and stayed at Umi's house for a week until the end of the year.

What was good was, unlike typical anime, Umi didn't get a cold. If this were another anime, then Maki's cold would have infected her too. It was great it didn't go that way.

This was a heartwarming episode. Umi was worrying about Maki, doing so too much. She even wanted to take care of him while he was trying to sleep, so she was, well, dependent on him. She couldn't even hide from her parents or friends how much she worried. Amami and Nitta also teased them because Maki was sleeping at Umi's house.

Oh, it was so unnatural that Maki's mom gave the key to Umi's mom. It was so risky. What if they break up?

Then the story moved on to New Year's Day and they went to a shrine, a typical anime episode. Umi wearing a kimono was beautiful. They talked about what they prayed for, and they talked about their health. Because it was right after the part where Maki had his cold, it was an agreeable topic that health is important.
