First thoughts after watching Wistoria: Wand and Sword episode 22 (season 2, episode 10)

I watched Wistoria: Wand and Sword episode 22 twice. 7/10. Story was 4/5, animation was 3/5, voices and audio were 3/5.

I was wondering who Cerridwen was. It sounded like Caldron, and now here she was — she was surely Cerridwen. I should've been more confident that it was her, and it made sense that she put in the effort to make Will climb the tower. Because otherwise, it was irresponsible that she just chose him over others' objections to make him climb, and he ended up being a guinea pig. Although, she had so much free time that she didn't have to work as the head of the academy lol But now, it was the opposite. Cerridwen was her true form, and Caldron was a disguise she kept up with aging magic.

She couldn't figure out how to make Will grow stronger for 6 years, but I guess she was finally able to figure something out. Or maybe she could've done it at any time, and it was just that Will had lost his memory and his hair color. So the time had finally come for him.

Also about Finn. It made sense why he handed Will over to Cerridwen now because she had a plan, but then why and how was he there? Did he have that much free time? Well, maybe he did. At least he'd lived for 500 years. He had nothing to do but try to grow the "sword" for him. And he didn't save Will at all even when Zeo attacked him.

In this episode, Will used his Wis from the start. This was the moment he grew stronger again. In the praxis, he got stronger with Wis, and the next step was this time, to use Wis through his own power. What was nonsense was that other people talked up his sword's strength against the Wors Ooze. That thing could be killed with even a tiny amount of magic. Other than Zeo, I felt they exaggerated.

And I was glad to see Colette. She was trying to help Will, and was also jealous of Elfie. Although, she couldn't do anything in the Bloom, so I wanted a scene where she got to do something for Will. Maybe Elfie, who took Will for granted, wasn't someone I liked? I don't know. Well, but her role, and Sion's, Julius's, Lihanna's, and Wignall's. Were they just there to explain what was happening around Will? He was away from them the whole time, too.

Kreutz was simply nonsense in this episode.

Now I realized, I liked the ending a lot. "Reach for the Light," I guess. I am still wondering what that scene with Colette as a child was about, but maybe that scene was not included in season 2.
