First thoughts after watching Wistoria: Wand and Sword episode 15 (season 2, episode 3)

I watched Wistoria: Wand and Sword episode 15. 9/10. Story was 5/5, animation was 4/5, voices and audio was 4/5.

The overview of this episode was from Will's perspective:

Will was saved by Workner on his dragon but disappeared because Rosty was killed.
They were shot down by a masked man and Workner was fatally wounded in front of Will.
Finn arrived at the village and Will was awakened.
Will wiped out monsters and confronted Devander, which was fighting Sion and Colette.

From perspectives other than Will's, mages and dwarves mostly ran around and dealt with monsters, and Magia Vander argued with each other. Some wanted to come down from the tower and some disagreed.

The situation was like hell and it was great to see that it was dire and hopeless, not only characters just said it was a hell which looked different from reality. A few students and mages died but monsters impervious to magic were hard for mages to fight, except maybe Eliza. What type of magic did she cast? I had no idea, unfortunately. It looked like she materialized needles out of blood, and those physical objects could kill them. Edward's words and actions were also great. He was so logical that he weighed his own life and saved dwarves. He was calmly passionate and serious. Well, but the most shocking one was Workner. He got a hole in his heart, quite literally, after the battle with one of the masterminds. I wondered if he saved himself or Finn saved him.

I still don't know who Finn was. Obviously he was in a position like the Magia Vander in a sword world, or maybe even higher. He put some magic, or just blood, into one of the swords and that made Will much faster and stronger, so Finn himself was for sure in the position of one of the strongest characters in this series. I was a little bit questioning why he didn't do it himself, or whether he was going to help Will later. Will was down in the dumps at that time, but Finn had a strong belief that even changed Will's mind quickly and Will moved again. By the way, Wiz was the name of a sword, not spell which I guessed the answer of the subtitle of this episode, so I'm not sure whether that sword is special or whether there are similar swords.

Will was, repeating what he was in season 1, but finally awakened and arrived at Devander where Colette and Sion were. Colette was trying to figure out where Will was with Kiki, but Will had become too fast and reached her. Also, she faced Devander so couldn't move from there.

In this episode, it also showed the characters of the Magia Vander. They used to talk and showed their characters a little, but in this episode, Elfaria showed her emotion a lot and that was a good one. Well, before she got happy seeing Will was awakened, she was trying to intimidate one of the old men of the Magia Vander, so I wondered what happened in between scenes, though.

The music was also good in the episode, because this was a very important scene for Will to change. It was the kind of music that told us Will was going to improve and look up, but I'm a stranger to music so cannot say what it was.

The animation was good and considering the next episode will be an important episode, the animation will peak, probably.

Watched 2nd time.

Well, after watching this episode again, most characters were still alive, so it wasn't that much of a hell. Most of mobs were victims. I didn't know what happened to Serah, though.

Also, why didn't Marze follow Will and kill him? He thought he did, or he noticed Finn was close? Not sure, there was no reaction or scene for him, so even if he believed he killed Workner, he didn't finish Will off. Speaking of Workner, it was a good scene where the camera was behind Workner after he took damage from Marze, showing how desperate his situation was.

And Edward used bad words even though he was always dedicated to the bigger scheme.

Actually, I wasn't sure what the magic Will used was called. Probably I can see it next.
