Random thoughts after re-watching Saga of Tanya the Evil episode 11
This note includes a spoiler.
I watched the Saga of Tanya the Evil season 1 episode 11. I watched this series a long time ago, and I liked it, but I forgot most of the story, so before the season 2, I decided to watch again.
This episode started repeating the end of last episode. And then started fighting against the Allied Kingdom. They had long range weapons, and also their battalion was bigger than the 203rd of Tanya's. Because of it, some of them were shot down and they needed to fight in a difficult battle. Tanya noticed they couldn't leave because they would've been going to shot down from behind if they had done it and the reinforcement would take more than 10 minutes. So they must've fought there alone. Audios were great as always, and the animation were more than great. The camera works in the airforce battle with rifles were dynamic and moved around 360. Also, the movement of Tanya was different from other soldiers and she sometimes suddenly moved upside down and shot down rear enemies. Then she noticed there was a large cloud and escaped there to wait for enemies and attacked. But the Colonel of the Allied Kingdom was also strong, and seemed he had a weapon, track weapon or something, which wasn't allowed in a treaty and he still used it. Tanya and Visha were trying to fight and avoid the attack, but he was able to catch up and it seemed it was so hard to fight them. It was great, that Tanya's power of the God's blessing still didn't easily defeat enemies neither. She used that power only to protect the Weiss, who was trying to attack the Allied Kingdom's Colonel who shot down some Tanya's soldiers. Anyway, he persistently chased and attacked Tanya, and in the end, they faced to face, and then started brawl battle instead of a rifle. Tanya's brawl is still strong enough though she was a kid, but the Colonel was possessed by Being X, so he was trying to blow himself up. Visha stopped it once and she had a chance to take a distance from him but he anyway exploded and she got damaged. Because the Colonel was dead and the reinforcement of the Empire came to the sky, the Allied Kingdom left.
Then, the soldiers shot by them, including Grantz, were actually survived and gathered again. So, they were temporarily invalidated but they would still be able to fight? What the hell?
Then, the next scene was after 15 days, and the Empires' military marched into the capital of the Republic. Apparently, they stopped fighting afterward and took the Republic, and many people announced or thought it was the end of the war. 203rd battalion's mens went to a beach in the Republic and took a vacation, as if it was an operation. Well, they were definitely men. Visha and Tanya were in a still their military building, but then Tanya noticed the Republic didn't give up completely. As far as I've understood, they had navies and fled to the another country so they would be able to counter attack.
Tanya was trying to do anything she can to stop it, but anyone didn't want to, her boss, Visha, and one from HQ commander, and she needed to stop. She was so upset and angry that another operation would really end the way but she couldn't. Well, that would backfire for them for sure. It's obvious that the Empire will be attacked from multiple directions, the Allied Kingdom and the Republic, at the same time.
Let's see what'll happen. This episode was still very good especially the Colonel was really like a boss here for Tanya.
Watched 2nd time. Alright. Trench gun was violated by a treaty in this world, but it seemed it was not in a real. The Colonel's purpose was to revenge by any means to Tanya, so he didn't care that. And the last shot he got was from the gun his daughter gave to. How sad was it.
Then the Empire was satisfied with armistice and Tanya must stop by the top priority's order from a command HQ. It was very stupid from the point of Tanya and us, but it was obvious that nobody didn't experience a World War in this country, so they left them freely. Also, they won the Rhine too well that they underestimated the risk. Only Tanya who knew the World Wars knew what would come to them by this decision. That made sense because Being X stalked her so they were going to attack her. That was sad.
Anyhow, that was the end of the episode.
