Random thoughts after re-watching Saga of Tanya the Evil episode 6
This note includes a spoiler.
I watched the Saga of Tanya the Evil episode 6. I watched this series a long time ago, and I liked it, but I forgot most of the story, so before the season 2, I decided to watch again.
So unlike the previous episode, this episode was pretty serious. The HQ in the Empire needed the 203rd battalion to go to the Norden, and Tanya left. And she also predicted there were some other countries intercepting the Empire, like the Republic. And also she guessed Being X was involved.
Then they went to the Norden, and fighting against the enemies. Tanya thought reinforcements were not necessary and fought enemies with her battalion and the existing one. And she even said that the least achieving person needed to pay for the whole battalion, was it really a war? But she also tried to pull her weight there. Well how heavy was that weight?
Enemies were not only mages, but also bombers that flew at 10,000 altitude. Tanya fought them back, but it was true that the bombers might attack other planes if Tanya went up, and she also easily eliminated the commander's plane. It was interesting that bombers dropped their remaining bombs to make themselves lighter and flee faster. But she was able to use her T-97 or something to target multiple planes like some kind of robot.
Then she met Being X and they tried to make her face an entire world as an enemy. Well, Tanya was right. Being X isn't really God. It's a devil or some sort, from what they said to Tanya. Then she also tried to eliminate the enemy's observers from a distance. They had a rumor about Tanya, but they thought that was a myth. Yeah, nobody wanted to believe a kid used monstrous magic.
It seemed to me that she was really enjoying a war and also is willing to fight against an entire world if she can take down Being X. So, she is, from one aspect, definitely an evil.
After the ending, Tanya went to a commanding operation room, and she was worrying about 2nd hand smoke. It was funny that all of those officers smoked in front of the kid who was 10 years old or so, and her face looked like she really hated it.
Watched 2nd time.
A commander of the Allied Kingdom on the observation team was actually excellent, and they noticed when Tanya attacked them even though his subordinates questioned what she was trying to do. And they shortly noticed she tracked their techs.
Also, despite what she wanted, Tanya really was suited to fight at the front because she was really obsessed with Being X and wanted to fight against the world.
