Random thoughts after re-watching Saga of Tanya the Evil episode 3

This note includes a spoiler.

I watched the Saga of Tanya the Evil episode 3. I watched this series a long time ago, and I liked it, but I forgot most of the story, so before the season 2, I decided to watch again.

So, this episode solved my question I had in the episode 1. It started that Tanya was about to move to the science department in a lab. But she was trying not to make bad impressions that she didn't want to come back to the front line to her boss, so she showed she reluctantly accepted it. Well, that obviously caused a miscommunication, I guess, because it was so indirect.

Then she tested the jewel with 4 synchronization of something which was a new technology and still immature, and that jewel exploded not only once but also a couple of times. So she hated being a guinea pig, well mainly because that chief engineer talked about theory and not practice, and obviously didn't test at all, and except her, they couldn't test I guess. So, in the end, she ended up asking to stop the testing for the device, moving to the front line. It was approved. I think this actually gave a wrong impression to top brass that she loved front lines instead of rear and that was the reason why she started fighting in front more. I guess what the right course of action had been that she asked different tests which was from a different person, because obviously the chief engineer didn't care the safety and blamed others.

Anyway, next, the Being X came to her and talked to her with a puppet. Actually, it was able to take over not only creatures but also non organics too. They obviously failed to make her have a faith, so they started intercepting more. Then, the chief engineer started new experiment because of Being X's interception and she was about to be exploded, and obviously she knew that it was due to Being X. But she unconsciously prayed the God and used the device without any dangers. Magic? No idea. Something controlled by the Being X. But because of this, she always prayed to God to have the control of jewel, which allowed her to use more powers for magic. And this was the reason why she prayed in the 1st episode. Of course, she was atheist, but was also rational and in order to have better power, she prayed. That caused other people to believe the God, or Being X more, ironically.

Then Visha got from her to get back to the capital because of the achievement she made. Obviously, it was from Tanya, and she remembered how two other men ended up by her order so she was scared but also surprised with what Tanya gave to her. Tanya didn't laugh or react anything about the question that Visha asked whether she went to the pillbox which was target by artillery. This was because Tanya couldn't empathize with others, and maybe she thought she was treating Visha properly.

Anyway, Tanya also went back to a university and thought she was able to spend a safe life there. But Lieutenant Colonel taught others that Tanya was a monster in the little form of a girl, and some people thought she was a good soldier, so they didn't think she wanted to be in a rear but in a front, and she wouldn't be in the rear for a long for sure.

Watched 2nd time.

One of an engineer said that I didn't think this would actually work. Hey, convince your chief engineer to make it safer for testing.

Also, Tanya now got the jewel, T-95 or something, which was cursed by Being X and when she prayed the God, she was able to gain the power.

Anyway, Tanya will move to a new rapid response unit.
