First thoughts after watching Wistoria: Wand and Sword episode 13 (season 2, episode 1)
I watched the Wistoria: Wand and Sword episode 13. I remembered in the season 1, the main chracter, Will, who couldn't use the magic in the magic academy, was trying to catch up with his childhood friend, Elfie. And in the last episode, Will and 5 other characters had an accident in a dungeon but they were able to defeat a strong monster by using his sword consuming Sion's magic. That's basically what I remembered.
Then the episode started that it was the exam season and Will got almost the perfect score, but he needed to still pass one more exam. Professors can use magics so they can grade scores students answers even before all exams were ended very quickly. They called Will the book-leaner, because he couldn't use a magic at all and just studying.
Well, he was in the library and learned an entire time there. Colette was also there with him, and even after the night, she thought he was still studying and brought some snacks there. But Rotty was also with him. He was, from what he and Elfie said in the season 1, Elfie, or Elfie's magic body who can be with him. Rotty didn't notice him and she was trying to kiss Will while he was sleeping on the table, but Rotty, of course, found her and stopped her. Will and Elfie like each other a lot, and Elfie was trying to avoid girls from Will, obviously. But he didn't help Will that much?
Anyway, next day, the exam was from the professor, what was his name? I called him Snape here because I forgot. Snape, who didn't want him to be a mage because he couldn't use a magic, asked one question to students: What is a magic? Of course, Will couldn't answer, but it was too early for him to throw a towel. However, he failed. The exam was important for him because he wanted to enter into a tower of a few greatest mages, and it was also where Elfie was there. But he couldn't and was depressed in a bench somewhere where no one except Rotty find him.
That day was the day for terminate or something, which the barrier disappeared and all.. Vanders? The five mages in the tower put the barrior. I was expecting the spell to put a barrior failed, but it succeeded. But then the another spell was cast, and some monsters came to the town and they attacked. Some headless, who was also in a dangeon, was also in the town too, so they somehow entered into the town safely, spelled a cast internally, and broke the barrier. This was the end of this episode. Well, honestly, I knew that would happen. These monsters attacks will be crucial and nobody won't be able to stop, but Will will stop, and because of that achievement, he will exceptionally be accepted to enter into the tower.
Watched the 2nd time. First of all, Rotty's name was Rosty. Snape's name was Edward.
When Colette entered into the library and found out Will was asleep, she was like excited. I was like, she should've worried about him more when he was studying til the night til the last day of the final exam and then didn't even take a rest.
He was mad about Both Workner and the head mistress because they were welcome to enter Will into the tower. I forgot his context in the season 1, but he really sticked with traditions and cultures and was inflexible. Also, Clairie, who was a host in the Terminalia's festival, said she, Edward, and Workner were together before, so they got along each other, actually. So as long as Will wasn't involved, Ed and Workner didn't conflict. Speaking of Clairie, what she explained sounded like the Paladin island; That village was guarded by a barrier by great mages and isolated, but was actually attacked by external enemies. So, it might be much wider and more enemies outside, and wondered why they invaded the academy.
Also, I didn't notice at first, but the voice actress's name for the headless was hidden, so it was definitely someone we could guess, and that means there was a traitor who made them into the village. Who was it? That woman with glasses? Someone from the great mages? We will see it.
