First thoughts after watching Re:Zero season 4 episode 4

I watched the Re:Zero season 4 episode 4. I remember the story for season 2 and 3 only a little, but don't remember the details of each character that much. Subaru woke up on Emilia's lap at first in their carriage, which was actually in the Pleiades tower. Then everyone is there. I was thinking why? Probably Shaula gathered them or they happened to be there after the end of season 2. But if she gathered, then I think she prioritized Subaru at first, so it's likely the latter case.

Then she thought Subaru is her master, Flugel, because he smelled s***. Some people like Rem hates his smell and from how Shaula said, I think she also hates it so she probably can sense the witch's smell like Rem. Also, she lives for a long time, and seems she is not a human, neither? She said someone died 400 years ago or so, so... what is she? And even though her name is Shaula, it seems she is not the sage. Then Flugel somehow asked her to prevent anyone from coming to the tower and she obeyed all along, but why? So, I assume there is something too strong or too useful in the tower like other fantasy story does. By the way, everyone doesn't know "Flugel" except that the person who planted a large tree was the one Subaru defeated the white whale with in the past.

Then, Subaru went to a room with spirits, where looks like a jungle. And Patrasche was there because the room has a healing effect to them. Rem was also there but Rem couldn't be cured because her state wasn't an injury nor mind issue. Ram decided to be there to take care of Rem.

Then Subaru went to the 4th floor, which is the first exam of the tower to enter into a library of the tower. Subaru found the monolith, which looks like a stone of which height was the similar as humans, and when he touched, the exam started. The exam was to start appearing the number of monoliths and they needed to find the right monolith. While he was thinking and talking with his friends, he noticed by looking at the Shaula and her hair. She said before that her hair style was not a pony tail, but a scorpion tail, and that made him realized that the exam was about the constellation. This made me think, did someone come from another world besides Subaru? And because they came from another world, that they had the smell of the witch, and was it Flugel?

Anyhow, Subaru found the right monolith and went to a library and ended the episode.

After watching the 2nd time, it made me think a few things. Shaula guarded the watchtower to protect the Great Pleiades Library, and that library and the tower was built by Flugel. It appears he has a strong authority or magic power to build it. Also, she likes her scorpion hair and also her hair pin is with a star. She has a memory or something for that hair. Beako worried about how Shaula would behave if she found out Subaru isn't Flugel. Especially Flugel ordered her not to talk to anyone, which Subaru said he was a terrible person to do so, so maybe she knows something important.

Then, Reid, who was the first Saint, was a scumbag and Shaula was beaten by him. Maybe, Subaru will travel in the past and meet with them, just like other fantasy does.

Then, this episode also showed how Subaru's basic ability is high. He has a lot of knowledge for a myth, and a constellation.

Most of this episode is for story, and didn't notice the details of animation or music that much.
