First thoughts after watching Re:Zero Season 4 Episode 13

This note includes a spoiler, and not only about this episode. I watched Re:Zero season 4 episode 13 twice. "That is that, this is this." I think it made sense how other people like Julius felt toward Subaru. Subaru spoke like he knew Julius pretty well, even though Subaru had said he lost his memory the day before. It sounded like a lie, but he was on his fifth life because of the return by death, and he saw how Julius confronted Reid by himself in a desperate situation. Honestly, if I were Julius, I would think he was lying for some reason, or just a creepy person. But Julius trusted him and believed his words, and also he had his pride as a knight. So he looked like he was convinced by what Subaru said.

First thoughts after watching Re:Zero Season 4 Episode 12

This note includes a spoiler. I watched the Re:Zero season 4 episode 12 twice. So, Re:Zero season 4 was one of the most anticipated seasons I'd waited for. It started after Subaru returned by death 4 times in a short period of time in the tower of... What? Saint? And in the previous loop, he distrusted everyone because he was killed 3 times, but then he noticed everyone was really worried about him and he also was saved by Emilia from disappearing. So, it was pretty natural that he broke down in tears when he came back and saw Beatrice was alive. I forgot how she died in the previous loop, though. I remembered Meili, Foxidna, Julius, and Emilia.

First thoughts after watching Jobless Reincarnation Season 3 Episode 6

This note includes a spoiler. I watched Jobless Reincarnation season 3 episode 6 twice. This episode was mostly between Rudy and Sara. Sara, and how he parted ways with her, was one issue Rudy hadn't solved until this episode. So the main focus in this episode was to solve it, and it started with Sylphie's kid and Rudy. Honestly, I didn't recognize Suzanne at first, but once I did, it made sense that she had quit being an adventurer and gotten married. And she even got a job as a nanny at Rudy's house. Then, obviously, Rudy met Sara on the next job, but he avoided her, or ran away from her. I was a little pissed off. Why would he do that? But then he talked with her about the past and what happened, and showed how mature he had become. In terms of Sara, she felt a little sad after talking to Rudy, and I thought she had regrets. She might have, but after talking to Rudy she understood why it couldn't have worked, and she moved on. And then she and Rudy really became good friends. I liked her.

Random thoughts after rewatching The Apothecary Diaries Season 1 Episode 9

This note includes a spoiler. I rewatched The Apothecary Diaries season 1 episode 9 twice. In this episode, the poison was alcohol and salt, and sweetness was involved too. Gaoshun was like a father to Jinshi. He also said he had known Jinshi since he was a kid, and he was surprised by Jinshi's childish behavior toward Maomao. He didn't seem to welcome it because Jinshi should behave like a higher-up, so he is a strict and disciplined person.

Random thoughts after rewatching The Apothecary Diaries Season 1 Episode 8

This note includes a spoiler. I rewatched Apothecary Diaries season 1 episode 8 twice. Well, this episode was probably just a side story in the Verdigris House. Maomao's dad was really good, but it was hard to confirm he was right. She might have imagined he was that good and that he was able to guess it from only a small amount of evidence, though he didn't say a word. And also, why didn't he say anything other than asking her a couple of questions? So, I couldn't figure out whether he was really that talented or not. Also, from the result of Maomao's conjecture, it would have been almost magic if he had deduced it. There were 2 drinks and I couldn't figure it out until she worked it through. That said, he didn't receive the money, which included a hush-money fee. So he might have known that at least that person was suspicious. So, they all planned to poison him.

Random thoughts after rewatching The Apothecary Diaries Season 1 Episode 7

This note includes a spoiler. I rewatched Apothecary Diaries season 1 episode 7 twice. The episode started the day after the garden party in the previous episode. I wondered where Maomao was sleeping in such a good bed, but it was one of the rooms in the Jade Pavilion. It was rare that Maomao and Gaoshun talked about issues without Jinshi, so it felt odd to me. But Jinshi seemed to be wiped out, so Gaoshun needed to do it by himself. Also, it was originally her own request, so it made sense. Maomao thought Lady Lishu couldn't read the room at first, but she figured out it was because she was bullied. So, it was great that that first impression actually had a reason behind it. Jinshi also showed his lazy, easygoing side to Gaoshun. Yeah, that was a young man who acts sociable for other people. When Gyokuyou teased him, he was so upset and she found it so funny. It was nice to see her like that.

Random thoughts after rewatching The Apothecary Diaries Season 1 Episode 6

This note includes a spoiler. I rewatched Apothecary Diaries season 1 episode 6 twice. From this episode, things got complicated and interesting. I wondered in the previous episode why Lady Lishu wore a different color from her ladies-in-waiting — dark pink, while they wore white. But Maomao mentioned it, though there was no answer for that, so we may be able to figure it out later. I wonder how many hairpins each person has. Lihaku had many of them, so there was no limit, but I don't think someone like Lihua gave them to many random people. And also, why did Lihaku want to give them to that many people? I forgot.

Random thoughts after rewatching The Apothecary Diaries Season 1 Episode 5

This note includes a spoiler. I rewatched Apothecary Diaries season 1 episode 5 twice. When I first watched it, I didn't fully understand what was happening. I don't understand but somehow matsutake mushrooms were rare and hard to eat. And they ate them just grilled with some salt, and they were so satisfied with them. Are they really that tasty? Also, for people who lacked knowledge of chemistry or any education, it might've been natural that a fire changing color was a scary thing. That said, I didn't get how they sent secret messages with them. Anyhow, that will be figured out somehow in a future episode, and I don't remember this wooden tablet stuff.

First thoughts after watching Jobless Reincarnation Season 3 Episode 5

This note includes a spoiler. I watched Jobless Reincarnation season 3 episode 5 twice. 8/10. It seemed like this episode was meant to wrap up what happened after Rudeus came back to his mansion from the labyrinth. Elinalise settled down with Cliff, instead of staying an adventurer. Cliff is a member of the Milis Church, but I don't think she is. I forgot about it, but she has a curse. How can she deal with it?

Random thoughts after rewatching The Apothecary Diaries Season 1 Episode 4

This note includes a spoiler. I rewatched Apothecary Diaries season 1 episode 4 twice. 8/10. This story was about curing Lady Lihua. The Emperor asked Maomao to cure Lady Lihua, and he said she was a famous apothecary. But until episode 3, Maomao mostly communicated with only a few people: Lady Gyokuyou, Jinshi, Gaoshun, and the quack doctor. So, he had likely heard about Maomao from both Gyokuyou and Jinshi? That means Jinshi was definitely close to him. When Maomao talked to the Emperor, she was trying not to look at him. When she tested food for poison, she always looked down, or looked to the side instead of looking straight ahead, and she even closed her eyes. So, it's obvious that, culturally, most people weren't allowed to look at the Emperor's face directly.
